Feeling tired after a massage is quite common.

If you’re not getting enough sleep, it can leave your energy depleted.

Try power napping.

Unplug the phone, turn off your mobile, lie down and power nap for 10-20 minutes.

If you find you can’t nap, try deep breathing and visualisation to help you switch off.

Breathe in deeply feeling your chest and stomach expand as you do so. Then breathe out slowly pulling your stomach in and up under your ribs to get all the air out. As you get used to this deep breathing, try to visualize a calm quiet place – it may be a mountain scene or a lake or just somewhere or someone that makes you feel happy and content.
