I’ve given you 1 minute wonders, 5 minute wonders, now for some 10 minute wonders to stay calm in moment’s of stress.


A little visualisation technique to imagine your perfect day, free from the work and chores of our day-to-day lives.

Close your eyes and imagine all the great things you would do on your perfect day from the moment you wake up.

It can be whatever you want it to be – relaxing with your family and friends, or having a pamper day just for you, jetting off to a luxurious resort or spending the day reading.


When you’re feeling stressed, recalling this perfect day can help to calm you.


Practise the visualisation regularly to help you focus on what you want out of life and create a healthier work-life balance.

2. DECLUTTER. OK, you may need more than 10 minutes for this (I just decluttered my kitchen and it took 5 days! Tells you something about the state of my kitchen, I guess…). But start small, with your desk.


Just clearing out your working space can save you loads of time in the long run. Suddenly things you spend ages looking for are at your fingertips! Try it and see (then maybe move onto something bigger, you’re feeling inspired, right!)
